Everest Science Center Nepal (ESCN),
the first and the only science center in Nepal is a private independent organization, established in the year 2001 with the aim of providing the general public with the opportunity to access scientific knowledge through easy-to-understand demonstrations and explanations. We are committed to increasing the public understanding of science and feeding them with scientific knowledge especially in a country like Nepal. We believe in explaining science by way of ‘hands-on experimentation’, and are using this technique to encourage and expand people’s interest in all fields of science (especially those who are intimidated by science or are naïve about it).

We are at the threshold of displaying a consortium of scientific activities and creating an exhilarating environment - teasing minds and making it possible and easier for people to comprehend science better. We have maintained simple, locally made low-cost effective exhibits for the general public to learn. While observing our exhibits people can maximise their knowledge concerning all fields of science, viz: Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Astronomy, Botany, Zoology, and Agriculture.

For effective learning ESCN has maintained labs and collected numerous sets of specimens and scientific apparatuses for the general public.
